It’s Our 30th Anniversary!

Dear members, partners, and our community,

2023 marks the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce’s 30th anniversary. Since 1993, the SacAsian Chamber has maintained its mission to advocate for the region’s Asian American and Pacific Islander community and uplift AAPI-owned small businesses in every facet. Over three decades, the SacAsian Chamber has not only grown our staff and organizational efforts, but also in our devotion to the AAPI population and our purpose to create an inclusive economy for small businesses.

While we have the metrics and numerical proof to show our impact, we also believe the most lasting impacts aren’t in the analytics. Our impact is in the generational legacy of a once small but now staple business like Frank Fat’s; it’s in Binchoyaki’s booming success after fighting through the pandemic; it’s in the resilient stories of the community we advocate for.

To celebrate this success and growth over the past 30 years, the Chamber’s brand in 2023 will reflect the roots we have set in the community, and the growth ahead we are already nurturing. Many of our events and activities throughout this year will pay homage to this landmark anniversary, and we’re excited to share those with you! It will be a time to celebrate the progress our region has made for business development and economic inclusivity, and also a time to enact the changes that will impact generations to come.

Thank you to our members, Board of Directors, the Sacramento community, and all the friends of the Chamber who inspire us to continue growing. Thank you for 30 years of friendship, devotion, and togetherness since 1993. We are truly proud to be rooted in community, and growing together. Our team will stand firmly as your advocate in each and every year ahead. For now, let’s start with 2023.

With gratitude,
Our team at the SacAsian Chamber
