Revealing the New Airport Lounge Area Dedicated to Highlighting the API Community

On April 13, 2017 our Board Members and Sponsors joined us at the Sacramento International Airport as we unveiled the new lounge area in Terminal B. The lounge area is dedicated to highlighting and celebrating the impact of the API community in the region.

The Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce and California Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize our sponsors:

Upon entering the lounge visitors will see several media displays showcasing regional leaders of the API community, an interactive Membership Directory, a timeline noting significant milestones of the chamber, and a wall showcasing Sacramento’s diversity featuring images by local artist DeeKay Lee.

Our media displays that showcase regional leaders is sponsored by Bank of America, and the Diversity Wall with images by DeeKay Lee is sponsored by Western Health Advantage.

We would also like to recognize the following individuals for supporting us in creating a lounge area dedicated to the API community:

  • Ann Shimasaki, API Legislative Caucus
  • TJ Chen, PE, CM, Airport Chief Administrative Officer – Planning and Development, Sacramento County Department of Airports

We appreciate all of our Board Members, sponsors, and supporters for celebrating this accomplishment with us. We are excited to showcase the API heritage with over 5 million annual visitors at the Sacramento International Airport.
