Leadership Partners

LEADERSHIP PARTNERS Some gifted people are born leaders. But most of us need some guidance in finding and honing the characteristics that are required of true leadership. In its quest to instill more leadership qualities in its youthful members, the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce has formed a partnership with Drexel University's new Center for Graduate Studies in Sacramento and American Leadership Forum – Mountain Valley Chapter to help identify and educate potential leaders who will eventually become the guiding forces in the Greater Sacramento Region. Drexel University – Master’s Scholarship for Catalyst Graduates Every Catalyst program member past and present will receive a $10,000 scholarship for any graduate degree program at Drexel’s high-tech, downtown facility at One Capital Mall. Drexel has eight proven educational programs that lie at the heart of Greater Sacramento's economic future – health, entrepreneurial business, human resources, education, knowledge management and information science. American Leadership Foundation (ALF) Mentor Program The Catalyst Mentor Program was developed in partnership with the American Leadership Forum Mountain Valley Chapter in 2009. The Mentor Program offers Catalyst graduates an opportunity to develop a relationship with a regional leadership within ALF. The individuals who serve as mentors share their experiences, perspectives and wisdom regarding leadership and diversity. The purpose of this Program is to create leadership opportunities for Catalyst graduates from a broad spectrum of demographic and philosophical differences, to develop their knowledge of leadership and enhance their ability to demonstrate leadership skills.
