Catalyst
Our SACC Catalyst Program is a hands-on, 9-month structured leadership development program for emerging leaders. During the program, participants will pinpoint areas for personal and professional development, expand their network and participate in community efforts designed to further develop their leadership skills. They will also develop an individual leadership plan, join a community, social service or professional organization and meet with community leaders in order to forge key relationships within and beyond the SACC.
The SACC is proud to partner with Drexel University to offer higher education opportunities to emerging leaders within the greater Sacramento region. Every year, a fellowship scholarship is awarded to a Catalyst Leadership Program graduate to assist them in their pursuit of higher education and personal development. In September 2009, Drexel awarded a $20,000 scholarship to Amie Ichiho of Kaiser Permanente as she began her graduate course in Human Resources. We highly value this partnership with Drexel to help nurture future leaders of our region. Again, congratulations to Amie Ichiho on a well-deserved scholarship!
