Regional Internal Study Mission

Last week, a delegation of over 100 business and community leaders joined the SACC in its first-ever Internal Study Mission. In this 2-day trip, the group toured businesses around the region that we have identified to be “best of, first at, leader in” in the areas of green/clean technology, healthcare and collaborative leadership. Some of the destinations included Roseville Utility Exploration Center, PRIDE Industries, McClellan Business Park, Sutter Center for Health Professions and UC Davis. Now that we are more aware of what our region is “best of, first at and leader in,” we can continue the dialogue and take advantage of the many opportunities available in this region. The Sacramento Region has a tremendous amount to offer, and our collaborative efforts will define our success.

We would like to sincerely thank our event sponsors for their support of this Internal Study Mission and for the leadership they provide day-in and day-out to make the Sacraemento Region as vibrant and prosperous as it can be.

It is our hope that at the conclusion of these two days we will all be better informed and excited about the work being done in the Sacramento Region; more aware of the national and international recognition afforded the accomplishments; discoveries, and talent within the region;  and better able to “brag” about the Sacramento Region as a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
